West Plains Little League state tournament fundraising

The West Plains Little League 9-10-year-old All-star team blitzed it's way through District 13 competition to win the district title and advance to the state tournament July 18-26 in Montesano. The tournament was originally scheduled to be held in Cheney, but due to the water shortage issues the past several weeks was moved to Western Washington.

West Plains Little League parents of the 9-10 All-Stars are trying to raise over $7,000 to cover expenses for attending the tournament and can use help. Part of that is a Bowling Night at Rosas Pizza, Tuesday July 14 from 5-10 p.m. Up to four games of bowling and shoe rental included - $5 per person.

Please take the opportunity to support our Little Leaguers by getting in a little bowling Tuesday night. Also, if you would like to donate, or know of other donors or fundraising potential opportunities, please contact the Cheney Free Press Editor John McCallum.
