MLMS honors May students of the month

Medical Lake Middle School honored six students who were selected for the May Partners Advancing Character Education (PACE) Student of the Month award.

They received certificates, gift certificates and T-shirts and were treated to a special lunch May 15 provided by Tommy G's Espresso, and the school. May's PACE trait of the month was courage.

What courage means to them: Courage means not being afraid to stand up and try anything.

What courage means to them: Doing something you are afraid to do, but you do it because you have to.

What courage means to them: Standing up for others and not being afraid.

What courage means to them: It means picking up someone when they are down and standing by them. It also means not backing down.

What courage mean to them: Not being afraid and helping others.
