Fire merger talks heat up

At its Monday meeting, the Airway Heights City Council agreed to allow the Public Safety committee to reconvene with Spokane County Fire District 10’s board of commissioners in June. The two groups will meet to discuss different options for further consolidation between Fire District 10 and the Airway Heights Fire Department.
