SPOKANE COUNTY – Spokane County’s Engineering and Roads Division announced April 9 that seasonal weight restrictions have been rescinded on county roads. Seasonal road restrictions usually go into effect in late February or early March and last for approximately six weeks. However, weather conditions vary from year-to-year and dictate the extent of the restrictions and when they go into effect.
As the road construction season gets off to an early start, Barker Road from Chapman to 15th Avenue will be closed until Monday, April 19, as crews install a mainline sanitary sewer.
