Medical Lake completes 2-1 week on the diamond

After a busy and productive week of baseball, the Medical Lake Cardinals can enjoy their spring break.

With a pair of Northeast A League wins, 17-2 at Newport, March 31 and 7-4 over Chewelah, April 2, the Cardinals finished with split against Caribou Trail teams, Chelan, winning 6-4 and falling 10-4 to Cashmere, Saturday, April 4.

The Saturday games were part of an event called the Medical Lake Tournament that also featured NEA member Lakeside.

Medical Lake struggled early against Chelan but got a five-run fifth inning to rally.
