Koohns finishes fifth in Clarkston tournament

The Cheney boys golf team is back in full swing after they finished third in the first Great Northern League tournament of the year at Clarkston with a score of 521, March 16.

This year’s team, comprised of 24 athletes, has a couple of new faces, one being freshman Tyler Koohns, who finished fifth in the tournament and shot a 90. Elijah Palmer, a sophomore who transferred to Cheney from Hawaii, finished sixth and shot a 91. Other top finishers for Cheney include: Peter Condon, 94; Tanner Cunningham, 111; Matt Jones 113 and Taylor McNall, 116.
