Feb. 18
The Cheney Police Department assisted the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office on Curtis Road on a one-car, minor injury rollover accident.
Feb. 19
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 300 block of First Street.
Feb. 21
Yuri Reyes, 23, was arrested on the 100 block of North Sixth Street for driving without a valid operator’s license.
Second-degree theft was reported on the 300 block of First Street. Report proved to be unfounded when it was determined the woman’s purse she thought had been stolen at the nightclub was discovered to have been taken back to her home by a roommate.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 100 block of Pineview Place. There was damage to a car.
Lia J. Verduzzo, 20, was arrested for violating the noise ordinance, loud party, on the 1000 block of Fourth Street.
Feb. 22
Corey B. Thurman, 22, was arrested for violating the noise ordinance, loud party, on the 100 block of West Third Street.
Dillon G. Gibson, 24, was arrested for driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 2600 block of First Street.
Feb. 23
Third-degree theft was reported on the 2700 block of First Street. Items were taken from a vehicle.

Feb 17
Shoplifting was reported on the 900 East Lake Street. At the scene Anthony D. Barton,26, was arrested on a Washington state Department of Corrections felony warrant.
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
Feb. 18
Assault was reported on the 100 block of North Broad Street.
Feb. 19
Assault was reported on the 1000 block of North Fox Ridge Road.
Officers conducted a welfare check on the 200 block of South Jefferson Street.

A vehicle prowl was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Tamar E. Arcano, 37, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine.
James P. Jones, 56, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Feb. 13
Tonalia A. Bohnas, 32, was arrested at Hayford Road and Ninth Avenue for third-degree DWLS and on a felony warrant for possession of dangerous drugs.
William L. Hussey, 46, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
William R. Cloninger, 64, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree burglary.
A domestic dispute was reported on the 13500 block of West Sixth Avenue.
Feb. 14
Fraud was reported on the 13300 block of West 13th Avenue.
Incidents of second-degree introducing contraband and possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver were reported on the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue.
Robert L. Laverdure, 30, was arrested on the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and on a warrant for third-degree theft.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
Feb. 15
George W. Pimms (age not listed) was arrested at Hayford Road and 12th Avenue for third-degree DWLS.
A traffic accident with damages was reported at Highway 2 and Hazelwood Street.
Dead on arrival/natural causes was reported on the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue.
Incidents of second-degree identity theft and second-degree possession of stolen property were reported on the 1400 block of South Garfield Road.
Feb. 16
Robert E. Bland, 35, was arrested on the 12800 block of 14th Avenue on a warrant for Department of Corrections escape community custody.
Third-degree malicious mischief/domestic violence was reported on the 1600 block of South Campbell Street.
A juvenile was arrested on the 800 block of South Beeman Street for fourth-degree assault and third-degree malicious mischief.
Feb. 17
Anthony D. Miers, 19, was arrested on the 11100 block of West Highway 2 for third-degree DWLS.
Richard A. Higel, 71, was arrested on the 10300 block of West 10th Avenue for a domestic violence no contact order violation.
A traffic accident with damages was reported at Hayford Road and Highway 2.

Jeremy M. Mace, 28, was arrested on the 600 block of South Lawson Street on a warrant for failure to comply on a reckless driving charge.
Kyle P. Faraca, 54, was arrested on the 200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS and on a warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree DWLS charge.
Robert G. Young, 53, was arrested on the 200 block of South Hayford Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree DWLS charge.
James L. Root, 34, was arrested at Hayford Road and 12th Avenue on a warrant for failure to appear on a hit-and-run attended vehicle charge.
Feb. 19
A domestic dispute was reported on the 500 block of South Horton Street.
Property was recovered on the 10400 block of West Highway 2.
Ian M. Moravec, 23, was arrested on the 13100 block of West 13th Avenue on a warrant for failure to appear on a third-degree theft charge.
Property was recovered on the 1300 block South of Ziegler Street.
Craig R. Kellerman, 25, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting and on a warrant for theft.

Mark A. Preston, 42, was arrested on the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue for making false or misleading statements to a public servant and on a Department of Corrections warrant.
