Buttercups galore

In something of a rarity, there was a three-way tie in the Cheney Free Press's annual first buttercup contest.

Stopping by the office with indications that spring is not far off were 8-year-old Shadrach Mason (bottom) and 11-year-old Ariana McMillan (side) along with the Holtan trio, from left to right above, 8-year-old Ethan, 3-year-old Isabel and 6-year-old Isaac.

That should do it for buttercups in 2015. See you next year.
