Blackhawks boy’s swimming finishes third at districts
The Cheney High boy’s swim team had a successful outing at the 2A-1A boy’s swimming district championships, Feb. 6-7 after they finished third out of 13 teams with 339.5 points at Moses Lake. The top three placers in each event advance to the 2A state championships Feb. 20-21 at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.
Scott Nadeau took home his second district title in the 200-yard individual medley after he finished in 2 minutes and 5.33 seconds — a career best. He also finished second in the 100 butterfly (57.16).
