Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Emmanuel Lutheran Church invites you to join with us Sunday mornings for Sunday school and worship. You may also watch our pastor’s sermons at our website http://www.emmanuelcheney.org or on YouTube at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Cheney.

Our “Festival of Chocolate” event is scheduled for this Tuesday, Feb. 17 from 6:30-8 p.m. A freewill offering will be collected to help fund our Vacation Bible School program. All are welcome.

Please plan to worship with us on Ash Wednesday at 7 p.m. Feb. 18. Mid-week Lenten services begin on Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. for a soup supper followed by worship at 6:30 p.m.

United Methodist Church

Our worship service this Sunday at the United Methodist Church will be led by pastor Alissa Bertsch-Johnson at 10 a.m. Preceding worship are Sunday school classes at 9 a.m. All are welcome as we study and worship together.

Wednesday evening Lenten studies and soup suppers will begin on Feb. 18. A simple soup supper at 6 p.m. will be followed by a study called The Way: Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus. A class for kids will also be offered.

Sunday there is a second worship service at church at 6 p.m.
