Deflate-gate is deflating The Game and all of us

Two things about “Deflate-gate,” this issue with 11 of 12 of the New England Patriots footballs used during their American Football Championship blowout of the Indianapolis Colts being under the NFL requirement for proper inflation.

One, watching Patriots’ head coach Bill Belichick’s press conference Saturday morning explaining what the club found in their research into the incident, which featured a loooonngggg dissertation on the science of air pressure, may have been the most painful 10 minutes of my life, time I will never, ever get back.
