Porfiria (Pila) G. Ybarra, 87, a long-time resident of Warden, Wash., and Cheney in her later years, passed away peacefully on Jan. 15, 2015 at Cheney Care Center.
She was born on Feb. 26, 1927 in Mercedes, Texas, the daughter of Martiliano and Leandra (Sanchez) Gutierrez. She is survived by her children, Gilberto (Twila) Hernandez; Geneva (Juan, Jr.) Ybarra; Gregg (Sandi) Ybarra; Bito Jr. (Julie) Ybarra; Gloria (Rick) Johnson; Jorge (Crystal Sullivan) Ybarra; two brothers, Ramiro Gutierrez of Hollister, Calif. and Tomas Gutierrez of Gilroy, Calif .; 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bito V. Ybarra Sr .; her sister, Francisca Gutierrez; her brother, Francisco Gutierrez and her granddaughter, Shanna Kay Hernandez.
