The Cheney Planning Commission finally approved the city’s updated parks plan at its regular meeting Dec. 8. The commission began the public hearing process at their October meeting, but lack of a quorum at the November meeting pushed final review and passage to this month.
At the October meeting, commissioners asked the city’s planning staff to review specific sections of the plan and add in new information that might reflect current conditions of usage.
