Letters to the Editor
It was a wonderful turn out again this year. We all received a warm reception from the people who visited us on our Studio Tour.
All of the artists work hard all year at their craft hoping to achieve a higher quality and freshness to it. To share one’s work with people is very important because the feedback helps us to understand if what we have created can put a smile on their face or get a “Wow.”
This show for me was very successful in that regard. I was set up in the (Cheney Historical) Museum. A woman who came the year before was looking very closely at my work, then looked up at me and said, “You have improved.” This comment means everything to me because my hard work was acknowledged and accepted. The dedicated volunteers at the Cheney Historical Museum are amazing at what they have created here. The museum made my work look even better — thank you.
The studio tour could not have been so successful if it were not for all the promotion from the Cheney Free Press, Cheney Library, Airway Heights Library, and Cheney Historical Museum. We thank you all. In addition, we would like to congratulate the winners of our drawing, Mary Weathers of Spokane and Philip Kaplan of Medical Lake.
