Dec. 1
A motor vehicle was taken without the owner’s permission on the 100 block of College Hill.
Brian K. Suominen, 18, was arrested for violation of an anti-harassment order and fourth-degree assault on the 2300 block of First Street. Police also arrested a 17-year-old male for fourth-degree assault at the same location.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 100 block of Walker Drive.
Dec. 2
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 500 block of Bonnie Way.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 600 block of South Cheney-Spangle Road. Machinery parts were stolen.
A residential burglary was reported on the 300 block of Sixth Street. Medical marijuana was stolen.
Dec. 3
Second-degree theft was reported on the 600 block of Marcella Avenue. A wallet was taken from a vehicle.
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 2200 block of Hillside Drive. Nothing was taken.
Second-degree burglary was reported on the 2200 block of Marigold Court. Jewelry was stolen.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2400 block of University Lane.
Dec. 4
Patricia A. Torres, 33, was arrested at Cheney Municipal Court on a Spokane warrant for fourth-degree assault and domestic violence.
Dec. 5
A medical injury was reported on the 300 block of Fifth Street. The individual fell and was involuntarily transported to the hospital.
A medical injury was reported on the 400 block of First Street. The individual was treated for alcohol poisoning and involuntary taken to the hospital.
Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 2600 block of Oxford Lane.
Roy A. Wells, 46, was arrested for third-degree theft, obstructing and giving false/misleading statements to a police officer on the 2700 block of First Street.
Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of West Second Street. A blue and gray bike was stolen.
Suspicious circumstances were reported to the Cheney Police Department for phone scams taking place on the 200 block of Gregory Drive.
Ebriama Jammem, 25, was arrested for two counts of harassment and obstruction on the 2700 block of First Street.
The police recovered a stolen U-Haul car dolly at Jarms Hardware. It was taken from a U-Haul in Pasco, Wash.
Dec. 6
Brendan J. Nocis, 21, was arrested for a loud party on the zero hundred block of Erie Street.
Lorenzo O. Harrison, 19, was arrested for a loud party and obstruction on the 500 block of West Third Street.
Dec. 7
Roger E. Leigh, 64, was arrested for reckless driving on the 19000 block of South Cheney-Plaza Road.
Serra Ceesay, 23, was arrested for third degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 1600 block of First Street.
Dec. 8
A wallet was found on the 1500 block of Washington Street.

A suspicious vehicle was reported on the 200 block of South Pine Street.
Dec. 2
Malicious mischief was reported on the 400 block of South Brower Street. A car was vandalized.
Dec. 3
Assault was reported at the 800 block of West Maple Street.
Dec. 4
Domestic violence was reported on the 900 block of North Howard Street.
A two-vehicle collision was reported at South Green Gate Lane and Lake Shore Tyler Road. No injuries were reported.
Third-degree assault was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
Dec. 5
Abuse was reported on the 200 block of East Grace Street.
Abuse was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
Dec. 6
A sex crime was reported on the 1000 block of East Tara Lee Avenue.

An argument was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

Dec. 3
Danielle E. Meier, 24, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford for a stealing a motor vehicle.
Larry A. Hawkins, 61, was arrested at Hayford Road and Highway 2 for third-degree DWLS.
A hit and run accident was reported on the 12800 block of West 14th Avenue.
Joel Milanowski, 26, was arrested on the 1600 block of South Campbell Street on warrants for failure to appear on third-degree DWLS and forgery charges.
Oleg N. Kuropatkin, 30, was arrested on the 1600 block of South Campbell Street on a warrant for failure to comply on a theft charge.
Harassment was reported on the 1400 block of South Albert Street.
Afton E. Servas, 34, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Dec. 4
Burglary was reported on the 900 block of South Hayford Road.
A traffic accident with damages was reported at Hayford and Thorpe Road.
A hit and run accident was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Austin D. Warriner, 20, was arrested on the 13100 block of West 13th Avenue for a probation/parole violation.
Dec. 5
A mental health issue was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
A traffic accident with injuries was reported at Highway 2 and Garfield Road.
Dec. 6
Jeffrey H. Drake, 50, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 13500 block of West Sixth Avenue.
Peter F. Heinen, 23, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue on a warrant for failure to appear on a driving under the influence (DUI) charge.
Dec. 7
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
Shae L. Cloud, 18, was arrested on the 12500 block of West Highway 2 on warrants for false statements, fourth-degree assault, first-degree trespass and minor in possession of drugs/alcohol.
Dec. 8
Kristy J. Walters, 31, was arrested at Northern Quest Drive and Hayford Road on a warrant for first-degree criminal trespass.
An abandoned vehicle was reported on Ninth Avenue and Salish Court.
Robert D. Price, 31, was arrested on the 300 block of South Aspen Street on warrants for possession of a vehicle theft tool, first-degree DWLS, failure to remain at the scene an accident, possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Price was also charged with failure to obey an officer and first-degree DWLS.
