Colbert man on life support following SR 904 accident

A Colbert, Wash. man was still on life support as of press time Tuesday, Dec. 2, after a rollover collision on State Route 904 on Nov. 24.

According to a Washington State Patrol news release, Brandon Michael Morris, 23, was westbound on SR 904 just after 9 p.m. when the gold 1985 Oldsmobile Calais he was driving left the road to the south and struck a rock wall. The vehicle then rolled and came to rest in the westbound lane.

Morris was airlifted to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane with unspecified injuries and was listed in critical condition. He was not wearing a seatbelt, and it was unknown at press time if drugs or alcohol were involved.

According to a Dec. 1 state patrol release, Morris was listed as deceased. The state patrol later corrected his conditoin as being on life support.

The state patrol listed the official cause of the accident as speeding.
