Let’s all bring our snacks and our chuckles and laughs to the new free Friday movie night. The comedy film “Bruce Almighty” is family friendly. It stars Jim Carrey as an unhappy television reporter who complains to God (Morgan Freeman) about the way he is doing his job as God. God offers to give Bruce his powers for one week. It starts at 6:30 p.m. on the new big screen in the church sanctuary.
The retirees also plan a fun event, their monthly potluck lunch at noon on Thursday, Nov. 13. The “Lunch Bunch” invite everyone who’s available to come, whether they’ve attended before or not.
Mark your calendars for the Thanksgiving dinner after church on Nov. 23. Potluck information will follow in next week’s article.
As usual, all are welcome to the worship service, Sunday school, nursery care, beginning at 10 a.m. and followed by the fellowship hour.
