Christian Heritage students perform at the school's annual Veteran's Day program last year.
Christian Heritage School in Edwall, Wash., would like to honor our nation's veterans during their annual Veterans Day program on Nov. 11. All veterans and their families from Lincoln County and the West Plains area are cordially invited to attend the ceremony starting at 1 p.m.
The program will include student-led music performances, a presentation of colors from the Boy Scouts, patriotic songs and readings, and a photo tribute to each of the vets who attend. In addition, each veteran in attendance will be honored and thanked in person for their service and sacrifice in our armed forces. A complimentary pie social will follow the program.
Families of veterans who wish to be acknowledged in the photo tribute should email a service photograph along with the veteran's name, rank, and branch of service to the school email address at [email protected].
Printed photos can also be mailed to the school at 48009 Ida Ave. E., Edwall, WA 99008, where they will be scanned and returned to the owner.
