Kim Johnson Riggers of Spokane lost just two games and won Week 1 of the 2014 Cheney Free Press football contest, earning a $50 merchant’s gift certificate.
Cheney’s Jay Dahl was runner-up in a tiebreaker, winning a $20 Owl Drug gift certificate.
Five entries beat or tied the Free Press “experts,” to win a pair of EWU volleyball tickets and also go into the grand prize drawing.
Winners must come to the Free Press office at 1616 W. First Street in Cheney to pick up their prizes.
