Lost somewhere in the 76-mile journey between Medical Lake and St. Maries, Idaho are the legs and energy that propelled the Cardinals to a pleasing opening week victory over Orofino.
By the time Medical Lake head football coach Wes Hobbs saw what was missing last Friday it was too late and the Cardinals (1-1) were handed a 29-18 loss by the Lumberjacks (2-1).
