CHENEY

Sept. 2

A 17-year-old male was arrested on the 400 block of North Fifth Street for third-degree malicious mischief. A rock was used to break a windshield.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on North Ninth Street.

Two 17-year-old males were arrested on the 2300 block of University Lane for violation of a court order.

Sept. 4

Possible identification theft was reported on the 800 block of Summit Drive.

Sept. 5

Possible financial fraud, telephone scam involving a credit card, was reported on the 100 block of Sixth Street.

Josiah D. Riveria, 21, was arrested for third-degree driving while license suspended (DWLS) on the 1400 block of Washington Street.

Rami A. Aladwani, 27, was arrested for third-degree DWLS on the 1000 block of Second Street.

There was a report of an injured deer on Cheney-Spangle Road at the city limits.

Sept. 6

Edward G. Platz, 58, was arrested on the 300 block of J Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of College Hill Street. A propane grill was taken.

A mental health issue was reported on the 100 block of College Hill Street. There was a problem with the person’s medication.

A suspicious circumstance was reported on the 2300 block of First Street. An individual fixing a flat tire said they were ran off the road.

Sept. 7

A suspicious circumstance, tampering with a light pole, was reported on the 2600 block of First Street.

Second-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of G Street. Tools were taken from a vehicle.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 700 block of Villard Street.

Disorderly conduct was reported on Maple Street and Spruce Street.

Sept. 4

Theft was reported on the 800 block of East Barker Street. A bicycle was stolen from a yard.

Domestic violence was reported on the 600 block of North Jefferson Street.

Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

Theft was reported on the 200 block of East Barker Street. A cellphone was stolen.

Sept. 6

Justin M. Koele, 18, was arrested on the 400 block of West Brooks Road for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

A vehicle theft was reported on the 10600 block of West 13th Avenue.

A vehicle theft was reported on the 13800 block of West Highway 2.

A traffic offense was reported on Highway 2 and Russell Street.

Bobbie J. Loch, 36, was arrested on Hayford Road and Northern Quest Drive for third-degree DWLS.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 10200 block of West Highway 2.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.

Harrassment was reported on the 11900 block of West Sprague Road.

Third-degree theft/shoplifting was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

A recovered stolen vehicle was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Sept. 4

James W. Kelsch, 40, was arrested on the 13100 block of West 13th Avenue on two warrants for failure to appear on domestic violence no-contact order violation charges and one warrant for failure to comply on a third-degree theft charge.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on Lundstrom Street and 13th Avenue.

A hit-and-run accident was reported on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.

Sept. 5

Kenneth F. Hutchings, 27, was arrested on Mintle Street and 18th Avenue on a warrant for theft.

Channa R. Roland, 34, was arrested on Highway 2 and 12th Avenue for third-degree DWLS.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on Highway 2 and Hayford Road.

Sept. 6

A mental subject was reported on the 12500 block of West 21st Avenue.

Sept. 8

Thomas J. Swartzfager, 31, was arrested on Sprague Avenue and Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.

Kenneth F. Hutchings, 28, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine.

Channa D. Suryan, 35, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue on a warrant for Department of Corrections escape.
