A small brush fire burned a 200 foot by 20 foot patch of grassland last Wednesday afternoon in Cheney's Commerce and Industrial Park. The fire was reported at 3:37 p.m., with a Fire Department crew quickly extinguishing the blaze. Fire Chief Mike Winters said they found a small fire pit and cans of food near the fire's origin, but have no suspects.
