Summer Children's Theatre concludes

StageWest Community Theatre, Inc. and the Medical Lake School District wrapped up their third year of collaboration on the Summer Children's Theatre with performances of "Under the Sea," an adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's story, "The Little Mermaid." StageWest publicity representative Nancy Kuonen said the workshop and performances at Hallett Elementary School were "fantastic things" taking place despite budget cuts at the school district. Kuonen added the program was made possible through "the strong commitment of the local communities, including numerous local businesses that contributed to our success, the parents, guardians, and families of our cast and the Hallet PTSO," and thanked all involved for their support.
