Cheney High School alumna Elica Chelsy Starr received a $2,000 Seattle Business Forum Scholarship for the 2014-2015 academic year.
Starr, daughter of Gary and Himoni Starr, plans to attend Western Washington University and will enroll in the Honors Program and major in English. She hopes to become a teacher and an author.
Starr graduated from CHS this past June with a 3.95 cumulative GPA. She was involved in the Cheney Youth Commission and was a member of the school’s tennis team....
