CHENEY

June 30

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 1200 block of West First Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 600 block of Fourth Street. A Jazzercise banner was taken.

Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Third Street. A black bicycle was taken.

A 16-year-old male arrested for threats/domestic violence on the 500 block of Clay Street. The same 16-year-old male was earlier in the day arrested at the same address for fourth degree assault/domestic violence.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 600 block of G Street. A purple bike was taken.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Cheney-Spangle Road. Hubcaps were taken

A 17-year-old male was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 100 block of Holladay Drive.

July 1

A 12-year-old male was arrested for third-degree theft/shoplifting on the 100 block of West First Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway. An MP3 player was taken from a vehicle.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of H Street. Two bicycles were taken.

Domestic violence/verbal dispute was reported on the 300 block of Vine Street.

Theft of medication was reported on the 100 block of Washington Square.

Two bikes were found on the 2700 block of Bethany Street.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of Second Street. A blue bike was taken.

There was a report of an emotionally disturbed person who got into a physical altercation with a younger sibling on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.

July 2

A multi-colored bike was found on the 1500 block Third Street.

July 3

Suspicious circumstance/attempted break in was reported on the 800 block of West First Street. The person or persons did not gain entry.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 300 blocks of Erie Street. Tires were slashed.

Possession of fireworks was reported on the zero hundred block of Erie Street. There were no fireworks when officers arrived, however a suspect was identified.

Timothy V. Chvachev, 18, was arrested on the 300 block of College Street for residential burglary. Additional charges pending, once the suspect is positively identified through fingerprints.

Found property, a wallet, was turned in at the Cheney Police Department (CPD).

July 4

Malicious mischief was reported on the 700 block of First Street. A rock was thrown through a window.

Officer took a call to unlock a person’s vehicle. While officer was unlocking the vehicle the officer accidentally broke the window,

A runaway juvenile was reported on the 1600 block of West First Street. The juvenile returned home.

Trespassing was reported on the 2200 block of First Street.

July 1

Fraud was reported on the 200 block of North Sherman Avenue.

July 3

A vehicle prowl was reported on the 600 block of East Tara Lee Avenue.

July 4

Assault was reported on the 1000 block of North Fox Ridge Road.

Malicious mischief was reported on the 1000 block of North Fancher Road.

A welfare check was reported on the 9800 block of West Melville Road.

July 6

Domestic violence was reported on the 10700 block of West Geiger Boulevard.

July 2

Leroy W. Wine, 51, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue for third-degree driving while license suspended/revoked (DWLS), making false or misleading statements to a public servant and on a warrant for Department of Corrections escape.

A code violation was reported on the 12500 block of West 10th Avenue.

Incidents of a residential burglary and second-degree theft were reported on the 1000 block of South Comax Court.

July 3

A juvenile was arrested on the 1000 block of South Ziegler Street for child rape.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

A suspicious person was reported on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.

Valerie A. Gordon, 46, was arrested the 12000 block of West Highway 2 on a warrant for theft.

July 4

An agency assistance was reported on the 8700 block of West Campus Drive.

Found property was reported on the 12200 block of West Highway 2.

Angela M. Thompson, 46, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road on a warrant for malicious mischief/domestic violence.

Kimberly N. Montana, 23, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for failure to appear on a warrant for first-degree trespass.

July 5

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 12800 block of West 13th Avenue.

A missing person was reported on the 12500 block of West Highway 2.

A vehicle prowl was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

Corey J. Tiemann, 21, was arrested on the 1700 block of South Hayford Road for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Debora K. Waters-Lamb, 54, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree theft/shoplifting.

July 6

Second-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.

Third-degree theft was reported on the 2000 block of South Craig Road.

Raeann L. Tevlin, 23, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road on a warrant for failure to appear on a theft charge.

A vehicle prowl was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.

Found property was reported on the 1400 block of South Garfield Road.

July 7

Amanda R. Brown, 25, was arrested on the 1600 block of Campbell Street for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence.

Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 1900 block of South Mintle Street.

A traffic accident with damages was reported on the 900 block of South Aspen Street.

Eluding was reported on Highway 2 and Hazelwood Road.
