SPOKANE – The federal government automatically activated a disaster relief program on May 28 for farmers and ranchers in Chelan, Lincoln and Walla Walla counties affected by recent drough conditions.
According to a Farm Service Agency news release, the program was activated after the three counties experienced D2 drought conditions for eight consecutive weeks.
