CHENEY
May 12
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 2200 block of First Street. A 17-year old male was arrested.
Harassment was reported on the 200 block of G Street involving two ex-roommates.
Possession of stolen property was reported on the 2300 block of First Street. A credit card was recovered. Investigation is continuing.
Third-degree theft of a laptop computer was reported to the Cheney Police Department. The theft occurred on Amtrak. The victim lives in Cheney and filed a report for insurance claim purposes.
Second-degree burglary was reported on the 900 block of Summit Drive. A bicycle was stolen.
May 13
A juvenile runaway was reported on the 2400 block of First Street. A 17-year old male was arrested.
Second-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Simpson Parkway. Personal computers and hard drives were taken. The investigation is ongoing.
May 14
Jared M. Weeks, 20, was arrested on the 200 block of Cheney Spangle Road for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence, fourth degree assault, obstructing and minor in possession.
A golf cart was found on the 300 block of Nolan Brown Place. The golf cart was impounded until the owner is located.
Third-degree theft was reported on the zero hundred block of Cheney-Spokane Road. It was reported to be an employee theft.
Officers took a report of civil problems involving Facebook on the 2300 block of University Lane.
Second-degree burglary was reported on the 200 block of First Street. Fishing poles and tools were taken.
May 15
Third-degree theft was reported on the 100 block of College Street. The report was an alleged dine and dash, however, when contacted the suspects agreed to pay their bill and no charges were filed.
A 1984 Chrysler New Yorker was impounded on the 1100 block of Oakland Street. The vehicle had been there since April 1.
May 17
Ephrem Y. Aden, 25, was arrested on the 300 block of North Eleventh Street, for violating a protection order issued by the courts.
Third-degree malicious mischief was reported on the 200 block of College Avenue. There was damage to a vehicle.
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 500 block of Union Street.
Court protection order papers were served on the 400 block of North Sixth Street.
Edward A. Ramos, 22, was arrested on the 200 block of Fifth Street for residential burglary and two counts of harassment. He is alleged to have threatened to kill two roommates.
Chloe E. Hall, 22, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 1000 block of Third Street.
Fourth-degree assault was reported on the 200 block of Simpson Parkway.
May 18
Shoplifting was reported on the 2700 block of First Street. The incident is under investigation.
A driver’s license was found on the 100 block of First Street.
A bicycle and skateboard were found on the 100 block of West Fifth Street.
May 19
Michael R. Cencich, 26, was arrested for fourth-degree assault/domestic violence on the 2200 block of First Street.

May 12
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
A wallet was found on the 100 block of South Lefevre Street.
Malicious mischief was reported on the 16600 block of West Lakeside Drive. Juveniles were inside a vacant house.
May 13
A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on the 16800 block of West White Road. No injuries were reported.
May 14
A backpack was found on the 700 block of North Jefferson Street.
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.
A two-car motor vehicle accident was reported on South Christensen Road and West Highway 2. No injuries were reported.
May 16
Assault was reported on the 800 block of West Maple Street.
May 18
Assault was reported on the 2300 block of South Salnave Road.

May 14
Dennis D. Johnson 55, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree driving while license suspended/revoked (DWLS).
A residential burglary was reported on the 1700 block of South Lawson Street.
Jayde A. Wright, 19, was arrested on the 12800 block of West Highway 2 on two warrants for failure to appear on trespass charges and for first-degree criminal trespass.
Identify theft was reported on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Fraud was reported on the 1700 block of South Hayford Road.
William R. Cloninger, 63, was arrested on the 100 block of Hayford Road on warrants for Department of Corrections escape, and failure to comply on charges of third-degree theft and third-degree DWLS.
Anthony M. Pratt, 23, was arrested on Highway 2 and Hazelwood Road for third-degree DWLS.
May 15
Robyn L. Kubes, 53, was arrested on the 100 block of Hayford Road for first-degree criminal trespass.
Joseph A. Denobrega, 42, was arrested on Hayford Road and Sixth Avenue for first-degree DWLS.
An agency assistance was reported on the 1800 block of South Mintle Street.
Daniel L. Hickam, 49, was arrested on Russell Street and McFarland Road on a warrant for third-degree DWLS.
Third-degree theft was reported on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road.
A dead on arrival/natural causes was reported on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue.
William H. Bond, 48, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for second-degree burglary and on a warrant for third-degree DWLS.
May 16
Byron D. Sparks, 40, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for third-degree DWLS.
Daphne R. Wilson, 45, was arrested on the 1200 block of South Hayford Road for possession of a controlled substance/methamphetamine and third-degree DWLS.
Lost property was reported on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.
A vehicle prowl was reported on the 300 block of South Aspen Street.
Incidents of second-degree malicious mischief, third-degree theft and commercial burglary were reported on the 11100 block of West Highway 2.
May 17
Brian R. Vavra, 37, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for first-degree criminal trespass.
Jessica J. Bonneville, 31, was arrested on the 10600 block of West 12th Avenue on a warrant for third-degree theft.
Jason J. Obermiller, 30, was arrested on the 10600 block of 12th Avenue on warrants for a no-contact order violation and malicious mischief/domestic violence.
Lucy Camacho-Skinner, 44, was arrested on Highway 2 and King Street for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor and/or drugs and hit-and-run unattended.
May 18
Mykola A. Vitrenko, 28, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road for fourth-degree assault.
Eric E. Ponozzo, 33, was arrested on Highway 2 and Hayford Road for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor/drugs.
May 19
A vehicle theft was reported on the 2000 block of South Garfield Road.
Mikhail V. Posheyko, 29, was arrested on the 100 block of North Hayford Road on three warrants for third-degree DWLS.
