In the Feb. 20 Cheney Free Press story “Spokane Council to Reexamine decision on STEP,” it was incorrectly stated that the Spokane Tribe of Indians is in an agreement with Cheney to provide services to the site of its proposed casino. The city of Cheney is on record as being in opposition to the project because of potential threats encroaching development could have on Fairchild Air Force Base....
