The EWU Board of Trustees will not waste any time in looking for a replacement for President Rodolfo Arévalo, who is set to retire in the summer.
In a statement, EWU board of trustees chair Pat Tanaka said that the board held in a special meeting, Feb. 6, where they decided they will “embark on a national search” to find Arévalo’s replacement.
The board hopes to name the new president of EWU by July 15, the date Arévalo’s retirement is effective.
Tanaka said the board will continue to keep the community informed and looks forward to their participation in the process.
