The Cheney Blackhawks boys’ swimming team competed in their final dual of the regular season against the Pullman Greyhounds, Feb. 1 at the EWU pool. Pullman defeated the Blackhawks, 105-65.
Cheney had several top finishers throughout the meet.
Trevor Babcock came in first in the 100 butterfly in 52.48 seconds. He also took first in the 100 backstroke in 1:02.27.
Scott Nadeau finished first in the 200 individual medley in 2:09.51
Nic Steele placed second in the 50 freestyle in 24.12. Steele came in third in the 200 freestyle in 2:03.02.
Sam Schreiber came in second in the 100 breast in 1:19.39....
