People need to hold Congress accountable

I would like to address this open letter to Senator’s Patty Murray, Maria Cantwell and Congresswoman Cathy McMorris-Rodgers.

I just wanted you to know how very unhappy and disgusted I was to learn that you supported the “Murray-Ryan” budget bill. This bill takes way $6 Billion dollars over the next 10 years from retired military members. As a 30 year Veteran myself, I felt that this was a slap in our faces for the service that we provided to our country.

You and the rest of the “Do Nothing Congress” needs to be reminded who you work for! I don’t see you taking a pay cut for the shameful lack of performance on getting anything done in Washington D.C. over the last couple of years.

How about going after General Motors for the remaining $10 billion they still owe the tax payers? The U.S. Treasury let them off the hook, even though they made $25 billion in profits!

It’s about time that the American people wake up and hold Congress accountable! Whether your Democrat or Republican, you need to think about this come election time and vote them all out.
