Sheriff's Office alerts public to suspicious individual

The Spokane County Sheriff’s Office is alerting the community about an individual that has exhibited behavior that is concerning to law enforcement.

Since 1997, a 55-year-old white male, who law enforcement is familiar with, has contacted numerous juvenile females and males throughout Spokane County. The majority of the time this individual contacts kids while they are walking down the street and regularly tells the females how pretty they are and asks young boys if they can help him find his dog.

To this point, this individuals actions have not risen to the level needed to prosecute him for a crime. This white male is bald and drives a mid-nineties Subaru station wagon.
