The Cardinals lost to Odessa/Harrington and later Davenport before winning their final two games against Lake Roosevelt and Bridgeport.
“Our defense is really coming along nicely,” Higgins said. “They are really starting to read the ball and anticipating where the opponent is going to hit it. All in all, I thought we had a great day.”...
