United Methodist Church

Worship is at 10 a.m. each Sunday morning at the United Methodist Church. Please join us. The Rev. Terry Hall will lead the service. Prior to the worship hour there will be Vacation Bible School planning at 9 a.m.

Sunday evening there is a second worship service, conversational in style. This service is at 6 p.m. and is open to all.

Mark your calendars now for Vacation Bible School Aug. 18 through 22. This is a multi-age event for the whole family beginning with a meal followed by songs, study, games, crafts and the marketplace.

Cheney United Methodist Church is located at 204 Fourth St. For additional information about the church please call the office at 235-4600. The church office is open 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. You can also visit us online at cheneyumc.org.

United Church of Christ

The newly elected church council has held a retreat to plan the

programs for the year. Fairly soon one project will begin which involves

demolition of a sidewalk that was broken up by tree roots, removal of

those roots and replacing the sidewalk. The patio off the fellowship

hall will also be expanded and bordered with easy-care shrubs and other

plants. Other improvements of the infrastructure will follow.

Pastor David Krueger-Duncan will lead the communion service during the

10 a.m. worship service in the United Church of Christ located at 423

N. Sixth St. All are welcome.

Child care is available in the nursery from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. Please

join friends new and old for the Fellowship Hour following the service.

St. Paul's Episcopal Church

All are welcome. A welcoming haven, nourishing all God's people in body, mind and spirit.

The Eleventh Sunday After Pentecost. Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside. Child care is available.

Narcotics Anonymous meets in the Parish Hall each Tuesday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Fellowship Breakfast is each Thursday at 7:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Join us for good food, fellowship and discussion. Come and bring a friend.
