Emmanuel Lutheran Church

All are welcomed to join us this Sunday, July 28 for the Tenth Sunday after Pentecost. Come early for the 9 a.m. Bible class. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by fellowship at 11:30.

United Church of Christ

The United Church of Christ welcomes everyone to its regular Sunday morning service led by pastor David Krueger-Duncan in the sanctuary at 423 North Sixth St., starting at 10 a.m. School age children may attend the service with their parents. Preschool children may go to the nursery from 9:45-11:15 a.m.

We’re friendly folks. Please join us after church as we get to know one another over coffee and cookies.

Folks from the United Church of Christ, individuals and volunteers from other churches and organizations come together to feed the hungry. In Spokane, members of the UCC Women’s Fellowship take lunch to teenagers at Crosswalk.

UCC congregants also volunteer at Feed Cheney, where anyone can receive a free restaurant-style meal and a box of food in Veterans Park across from the Wren Pierson Building on the last Monday of the month, July 29, between 5:30-6:30 p.m. For information or to volunteer contact Natalie Tauzin 559-5199 or email [email protected] or phone Susan at 999-0850.

Monday afternoon UMC will be preparing sack dinners for the July Feed Cheney. A work party to assemble the meals will take place at the church at 3 p.m.

Mark your calendars now for Vacation Bible School Aug. 18-22. This is a multi-age event for the whole family beginning with a meal followed by songs, study, games, crafts and the marketplace.
