Foundation conditions leads to decision to tear down old structure
What began as an expansion to accommodate a growing congregation has now turned into a new building for the Cheney Faith Center.
The city Community Development Department originally approved a 4,278 square foot expansion back in January, a 900-square-foot building expansion and new 3,278 square foot sanctuary. Faith Center representative Chris Segroves said once they began exploring more of the existing building’s crawl spaces they found a number of problem areas they hadn’t anticipated, and decided to take a new approach.
