Herbert G. Sagerser (Sags)
Loving husband, father and papa and grandpa, Herb passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2013 in Spokane, WA.
Herb was born on April 12, 1952 to Robert and Ruth Sagerser in Ava, Mo. He was a graduate of Fordland High School Class of 1970 where he lettered in basketball. After high school Herb joined the Air Force and following basic training he was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base where he served 20 years.
Herb spent many years playing softball for the base and other teams. He also enjoyed racing stock cars at Spokane Raceway Park. After he retired from the Air Force he became involved for many years in the Cheney Rodeo.
Herb is survived by his wife Nancy, Son Dale and wife Ali Sagerser of Inchelium, Wash.; daughter Trisha and husband Shawn Brash of Cheney and his grandkids Malachi and Lexi Sagerser, Austynn Ann and Cavan Brash and Cory Beck, his parents Robert and Ruth Sagerser of Nixa, Mo. and his sisters Pauline and Kevin Cox, Shirley Garrett, Virginia Cook, Marie Gardner, Gail and Bernie Dutton and one brother David Sagerser along with all his nieces and nephews.
A public Celebration of Life will be held for Herb at the Marshall Community Church June 15, at 2 p.m. in Marshall, Wash.
