Medical Lake’s soccer woes against Lakeside continued last week, but that was the least of the Cardinals’ worries as they quickly exited postseason play.
The Cardinals fell 1-0 to the Eagles as Cody Constant broke a scoreless tie at halftime with his goal at 49 minutes in a second-round playoff game played in Suncrest last Wednesday.
The loss sent Medical Lake into a second-round loser-out game at Quincy last Saturday in which the Cardinals fell 6-0. Attempts to get more details on Saturday’s contest were unsuccessful. Lakeside would also fall Saturday 3-1 to visiting Okanogan and is also finished for the season.
