Emmanuel Lutheran Church

All are welcome to join us this Sunday, May 12, to celebrate the Seventh Sunday of Easter. Christian education classes for grade school children through adults begin at 9 a.m. Worship begins at 10:30 a.m. followed by fellowship at 11:30.

StageWest Community Theatre invites you to attend their final performances of “Arsenic and Old Lace” directed by Kay Pacheco this week Friday, May 10, Saturday, May 11 and Sunday May 12. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7 p.m. Sunday 3 p.m. matinee is by reservation only. Ticket prices are $12 for adults and $10 for seniors, students and children. United Methodist Church

Bring mom to church this Sunday at the United Methodist Church. Worship begins at 10 a.m. each Sunday led by the Rev. Terry Hall. There are Sunday school classes for all ages at 9 a.m. weekly.

Please stay for a time of fellowship after worship and enjoy “Muffins for Moms” on this special Sunday. A second worship time is available at 6 p.m. each week. The service is conversational in style and open to all.

United Church of Christ

“Happy Mother’s Day” on Sunday. On Saturday, May 11, the youth of the church are selling hanging baskets and annual flowers for mothers and everyone to enjoy, to raise money for scholarships to Camp N-Sid-Sen.

Also, the last Sunday to pose for photos for the church photo directory is May 12. So, if you haven’t done it already, please dress in your Mother’s Day finery and have your family picture taken before or after church.

All are welcome to the 10 a.m. Sunday worship service led by pastor David Krueger-Duncan in the sanctuary located at 423 N. Sixth St.

School-age children are invited to attend the service through the children’s minutes and then go to Christian education classes for the rest of the time. Young children may go to the nursery from 9:45-11:15 a.m., or all children may sit with their parents.

We’re a friendly church; please join us to share fellowship, discussion, and snacks after the service.
