In their third GNL tournament, the boys’ and girls’ Cheney golf teams took third and fifth place, respectively, keeping pace with some of the league’s top teams.
The boys’ team just missed out on second place, scoring 452 behind Pullman’s 451. Tyler Maurer had the team’s best score for the day, shooting an 83 that was good enough for 10th place overall. Peter Condon and Nick Hilzendeger were second and third with scores of 89 and 90, respectively.
