Emmanuel Lutheran Church

Join us for worship this Sunday, April 21 at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate the Fourth Sunday of Easter. Christian education classes for grade school children through adults begin at 9 a.m.

StageWest thanks Emmanuel Lutheran Church for graciously sharing their facility for StageWest’s spring production of “Arsenic and Old Lace” directed by Kay Pacheco. Opening night is April 26 at 7 p.m. Play dates are April 27, 28, May 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 3 p.m. Ticket prices are $12 for adult and $10 for seniors and children. Reservations are needed for High Tea on Mother’s Day, May 12. High Tea ticket price is $25. For more information go to http://www.stagewestct.org.

St. Paul’s Episcopal Church

Sunday, April 21 is the Fourth Sunday of Easter. Holy Eucharist at 11 a.m. Rev. Christine Soule will preach and preside. Childcare is available.

Attention college students: Please come and enjoy good food, fellowship, discussion and study each Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall.

Narcotics Anonymous meets in the Parish Hall each Tuesday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. Fellowship breakfast is each Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Join us for good food, fellowship and discussion. Come and bring a friend

United Church of Christ

At the Cheney United Church of Christ pastor David Krueger-Duncan will be speaking at the April 21 worship service, and all are invited to attend. The Sunday service begins at 10 a.m. with child care available in the Christian education building from 9:45 to 11:15 a.m. School-age children are invited to go to class after the children’s minutes or to attend the entire service with their parents.

During the fellowship time after church, friends new and old will chat over coffee and goodies.

We are taking a break from the family photo project for the church directory. We will take photos again on Sunday, May 5 and May 12, and then we’ll print the directory. If you have not had your photo taken, please make an appointment in the church office of simply walk in from 9-10 a.m. or 11-noon on these Sundays

United Methodist Church

The United Methodist Church Birthday Bunch will head south to the Harvester in Spangle on Saturday, April 20. The no-host breakfast will begin at 9 a.m. and will honor April birthdays.

Sunday morning worship is at 10 a.m. at UMC, led by the Rev. Terry Hall. There are Sunday school classes for all ages at 9 a.m. each week. The church is conveniently located at 204 Fourth St.

Sunday evening the adult fellowship will meet at the church for a potluck meal at 5 p.m. There is also a second worship service, more conversational in style, at 6 p.m. All are welcome.
