United Church of Christ

While this is the last Sunday to donate items for birthday bags for the food bank, it is also one of several Sundays to have your family photo taken for the church directory. Gift bags, birthday cards, cake mixes, frosting and candles are still needed for the birthday bag project.

Your smiling faces and correct contact information are needed as soon as you’re available, to finish the directory. You may make an appointment in the church office or simply walk in between 9-10 a.m. or 11 a.m to noon.

At the Cheney United Church of Christ pastor David Krueger-Duncan will be speaking at the April 21 worship service, and all are invited to attend. The Sunday service begins at 10 a.m., with child care available in the Christian education building from 9:45-11:15 a.m. School-age children are invited to go to class in the Christian education building after the Children’s Minutes or to attend the entire service with their parents.

During the fellowship time after church, friends new and old will chat over coffee and goodies.

Committee heads and others wishing to submit articles to the church newsletter, “Table Talk,” please do so at once.
