Kelby Wegner pitched a 3-hitter and Rachel Stanfill had a pair of extra-base hits, a double and triple, to lead Medical Lake to a 16-2 non-league softball victory over Davenport last Thursday in Medical Lake.
Stanfill contributed her big hits during the Cardinals’ big opening two innings where they scored five times in the first inning and added nine in the second.
The Cardinals do not return home until next Tuesday, March 26 when they face Freeman and then Kettle Falls March 27 in a 4 p.m. game.
