Cardinals edge Blackhawks in Golden Feather Spirit Game

Basketball’s certainly a game of bounces, but for Medical Lake last week it may have been more about bounce-backs.
After opening the week with an easy Northeast A League win, 62-40 over Newport, the Cardinals dropped a 60-57 contest they led late Friday at Lakeside.
But after the disappointment in a game that might just toss the NEA into a playoff, Medical Lake pulled off a huge emotional non-league victory, 47-45 over visiting Cheney in the Golden Feather Spirit Game. Medical Lake claimed victory last year too, 49-40.
