Washington Gov. Christine Gregoire has appointed two new members to the Eastern Washington University board of trustees and both are EWU graduates – Judge James Murphy of Spokane and Vicki Wilson of Richland, Wash. Their terms are effective immediately and will continue through Sept. 30, 2018.
Judge Murphy earned his bachelor’s degree from Eastern in 1965 before going on to law school. Murphy served on the bench for 26 years in Spokane County, retiring as a superior court judge in 2003.
