Dr. Ann O'Connor went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on Sept. 19, 1949 in Spokane, Wash. to Nelson and Mabel (Heil) Cordill. She was a graduate of Cheney High School, earning her Bachelor's degree from Washington State University in home economics, masters/specialist degree from Central Missouri State University in traffic safety education and her Ph.D. from Michigan State University in curriculum development, specializing in traffic safety.
