Doris M. Splichal

Doris M. Splichal, age 101, entered into rest on Feb. 7, 2012 at her home in Cheney. She was born in Sandpoint, Idaho on Sept. 7, 1910.

She lived on the family farm in Moscow-Pullman area and was a graduate of Pullman High School, class of 1928. Doris attended secretarial school and worked for the Pullman Phone company, the Pullman Hospital and the Soil Conservation Service.

She married Ed Splichal in 1948 and moved to a farm in the Cheney area where she lived with her husband and their two daughters, Patty and Helen. After the death of her daughter Helen, she raised her two grandsons, Curtis...
