Dec. 28
Jermaine S. Bedford, 22, was arrested on the 1100 block of Mallon Avenue in Spokane for two Spokane County assault warrants. Cheney Police Detective Matt Pumphrey, a member of the U.S. Marshals fugitive task force, coordinated the arrest.
Tyrone J. Carell, 23, was arrested on the 1100 block of Mallon Avenue in Spokane for two Spokane County felony warrants. This arrest was also part of the U.S. Marshals task force.
Dec. 29
Civil problems were reported on the 900 block of Summit Drive.
Graffiti on a garage was reported on the zero hundred block of Third Street.
An attempted suicide was reported on the 100 block of Third Street — involuntarily committed.
Thomas J. Singleton, 20, was arrested on the 2700 block of First Street for possession of marijuana.
A two-vehicle non-injury collision occurred on the 1700 block of Second Street.
Dec. 30
Possession of a controlled substance was reported on the 100 block of F Street — possible prescription fraud.
Kalen J. Bedford, 21, was arrested on the 1000 block of West Mallon Avenue in Spokane for five warrants — two for assault, two for disorderly conduct and one for minor in possession of alcohol. This arrest was also part of the U.S. Marshals task force.
A mutual combat fight was reported on the 900 block of First Street — no arrest was made.
Dec. 31
A burglary with indecent liberties was reported on the 200 block of West Second Street after someone broke into a house and made unwanted sexual advances on the occupant.
Theft of gasoline from vehicles on a lot was reported on the 1900 block of Fourth Street. Damage to a shed and one of the vehicles was also reported.
Jan. 2
Matthew S. Perrin, 48, was arrested on the 200 block of West Second Street for a Spokane theft warrant.
Two vehicles had their tires slashed on the 400 block of Fifth Street.
MEDICAL LAKE
Dec. 27
Police responded to an accident with injuries on West Chase Road and West Espanola Road. A female driver involved in the single vehicle rollover was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Dec. 29
Cory O'Connor, 21, was arrested on the 200 block of North Washington. Police charged him with third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence.
A female complainant reported possible forgery on the 1200 block of East Lake Shore Drive. She informed Crime Check that there were charges on her account that she didn't make.
Jan. 2
A fire alarm was triggered on the 1000 block of North Prentis Street.
A complainant reported an intoxicated female leaving the 600 block of East Golden Court area. Police were unable to locate her.
Police received a call regarding a missing bike on East Fellows Street and North Prentis Street. Danny Leming, 44, was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant. The bike was eventually returned to the reporting party.
Officers took an informational report regarding a smell coming from an apartment on the 300 block of East Fellows Street.

Dec. 28
Joseph V. Cortez, 29, was arrested for domestic violence – no contact order violation – on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Emily A. Baum, 28, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Sarah J. Lee, 26, was arrested on warrants for assault on the 12500 block of West 12th Avenue.
Karen D. Green, 50, was arrested for third-degree theft – shoplifting – on the 12800 block of West 14th Avenue.
Michael D. Kinne, 26, was arrested for domestic violence – no contact order violation – on the 12500 block of West 12th Avenue.
Dec. 29
Kimberly N. Bradley, 40, was arrested for fourth-degree assault — domestic violence — on the 1900 block of South Lawson Street.
Dec. 30
William H. Hudgens was arrested for third-degree driving with license suspended on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Sara L. Jacobson, 29, was arrested for fourth-degree assault – domestic violence – and third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence – on the 1800 block of South Lawson Street.
Allen M. Knoll, 25, was arrested for custodial assault on the 11900 block of West Sprague Avenue.
Dec. 31
Kip M. Nordgaarden, 31, was arrested for fourth-degree assault – domestic violence – and third-degree malicious mischief – domestic violence – on the 12400 block of West Frank Street.
Jan. 1
Rebecca D. Smith, 38, was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear, third-degree theft on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Officers took a report of a suspect taking a motor vehicle without permission on the 12000 block of West Highway 2.
Officers took a report of vehicle theft on the 100 block of North Hayford Road.
Jan. 2
Clifford E. Brigman, 54, was arrested for DUI on Hayford Road and 9th Avenue.
