Dedicated 20 years ago, the Medical Lake Library opened its doors to an eager city.
“It's a real pride and joy for the people of Medical Lake in the sense that they were a part of starting it,” branch manager Laura Baird said.
From 1 to 3 p.m. this Saturday, visitors can revel in the city's history and speak with library administration representatives. The building's fireplace, the only one in the library district, will be burning bright throughout the day.
Before moving to its current location, Baird said that the library was in the small building behind City Hall....
