It's a family affair at Medical Lake Veterinary

Two sisters, Trina and Heather Dutton, are the new owners of the Medical Lake Veterinary Clinic, taking over for Dr. James Roloff.

Roloff, who began the clinic 36 years ago, retired earlier this month. The Dutton sisters set up shop Sept. 12, with their mother, Jeanette, acting as business manager.

They hired three employees, one of whom worked with Roloff before.

The Dutton sisters are graduates of the veterinary school at Washington State University. Trina graduated in 2010, and began working at a clinic in the Tri-Cities. Heather followed suit this year. It's tru...
